Co-founder and CEO, LARK
Julia Hu started Lark to make healthcare more caring and personal. Preinstalled on all Samsung phones and named Best New App by Apple, the Lark Chat app is a free personal health coach that texts people to help them get fitter, lose weight, and get healthier: anytime, anywhere.
A serial entrepreneur, Julia previously ran her own clean-tech startup, global incubator Clean Tech Open, and worked in China to build consumer electronics with D.light Design. After receiving two degrees from Stanford and dropping out of the MIT Sloan School of Management, Julia was an EIR at Stanford’s StartX incubator. She is named #1 in Inc. Magazine's 2015 Top 10 Women in Tech, and one of Inc. Magazine’s 30 under 30, and speaks on the future of digital health and IoT for CNN, Bloomberg, and Reuters.
Julia lives in Mountain View, CA and stays fit by attending hip hop dance classes and chatting with Lark about her snacks.
