Lauren Driscoll, MPH
Executive Director, Village Health Works
Lauren is Board Member and Executive Director at Village Health Works, a health care organization addressing the root causes of illness, disease, poverty and neglect in Burundi. Lauren is also a Prinicipal at Leavitt Partners where she advises private sector health care companies as they navigate the transforming health care market place. Lauren brings significant public health and applied health policy expertise. Previously, she advised the CEO and served as Corporate Director of Oxford Health Plans, where she led Oxford’s Medicare business over a period of time when membership grew from 80,000 to 150,000 insured. Prior to Oxford, Ms. Driscoll served at Beth Israel Hospital in New York as the administrator for its cardiology unit. She also served in the White House on the policy staff for the Task Force on National Health Reform, as proposed by the administration of President Bill Clinton. She supported the “Long Term Care” and “Transition to the New System” working groups.
