Kevin assumed the CTO position in November of 2006. In his 27-year GE career, he progressed through various cross-functional operating roles in multiple GE businesses.
Kevin helps drive the Appliance business’ growth strategy by integrating technology innovation into product design. He builds strong teams and robust processes and plays a significant role in determining the R&D investment, creation of new lines of business and launch of new products. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, he focuses on commercializing new technologies through new business models and partnerships. He played a key role in establishing Firstbuild, an innovation accelerator that is helping redefine how products are developed, built and sold.
Throughout his career, he has continued to develop new technology and personally holds 23 patent awards. He has led the design and launch of numerous innovative appliance products. He also serves on the board of several community non-profit organizations. He is a Mechanical Engineer by training and received a B.S. from the University of Connecticut.
